Yes, take the belt off and turn the the crank & camshaft until you get the timing marks in position, you will have to "feel" your way so do it gently and slowly. You may reach a point where you feel resistance and you can't turn the crank any further, in that case try to turn the camshaft (only The top tray of fuses are riveted in, and needs to be mechanically removed to access the MF fuses below it. How I fixed it was by replacing the cooling fan control unit which is located right next to the cooling fan on the fan housing. After I replaced this I still got the engine fault display on dash and limp mode so I unplugged the cooling fan and fed 12 volts to it from a 30 amp battery I had in the garage. It span up ok so I suspected it was
