Cushioning is good, interior is soft and comfortable, outsole good, and waterproofing seems real good. They were stable when backpacking 25 miles. The outer of the shoe sheds water well. (unless rain runs down into them). I do wish they were a little lighter weight. Size 12 weigh 19 oz each, on my scale.
